Job Opportunity :: Tourist Park Manager / Management Couple – Sun Country Lifestyle Village

We are seeking applications from prospective managers or management couples who are interested in managing the recently acquired Sun Country Lifestyle Park. The park has over 200 annuals, 20 short stay, 30 permanent residents and development potential of another 50+ more residents. This well presented park is ready to grow even further and will see significant investment in the coming months and years. We are looking for the right management team to lead and deliver these upgrades and see this park as the premier destination in the region.     

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing all operational and infrastructure requirements of the residents and annuals.
  • Checking in/out short stay customers, and any duties associated with short stay parks Supervising casual cleaners, and part time administration and maintenance staff
  • Managing the overall profit and loss for the property
  • Completing general maintenance of the park (including gardening and cleaning as required)
  • Project managing developments at the park, including new dwellings and other park upgrades in conjunction with consultants and contractors..
  • Working closely with the business owners discussing commercial decisions with a consultative approach.
  • Managing a database of sales enquiries with regards to dwelling sales/purchases.
  • Liaising with local stakeholders including councils, tourism bodies and community groups.
  • Attending to after-hours call-outs for guest, resident and maintenance needs.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Must have previous facilities or property management exposure.
  • Ability to manage prospective capital development (project management).
  • Good customer interface skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good ability to read and understand financial reports and profit and losses.
  • Personal handyperson and maintenance skills.
  • Innovative approach and strong drive for results.
  • First Aid Certificate will be highly regarded.
  • Police Clearance.
  • Attention to detail, flexible and reliable
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a people/community focus mind

Other Benefits

  • Combined base salary, superannuation and extras (accommodation, utilities, etc) package of around $115,000 (couple), subject to experience of the successful candidate and solo vs management couple.
  • Additional bonuses linked to dwelling sales and achieving operational budgets will apply and represent 20%+ package opportunity.
