Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort (“WSLR“) is a family operated caravan park which offers cabin accommodation, conference facilities and residential land lease community living. The values that drive the policies and practices on this site are Welcome, Service, Loyalty & Respect.
We are looking for a couple to join our management executive.
The ideal applicants would be a lively, energetic couple with a passion for customer service. One role requires electrical qualifications and mechanical aptitude to assist the leadership in our grounds and handywork team. The other role requires leadership and customer service excellence in our reservations and front office team.
Previous experience in successfully managing a small business will be an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
The positions will suit a couple who enjoy this working life style, these are not conventional 9-5 style positions. Management of the park will also require regular work on weekends.
To be successful in your application you must show you:
For Both Roles:
- Have a “can-do” attitude
- An enthusiastic and friendly personality with the ability to make guests feel very welcome;
- A level of intelligence to be able to identify, understand and solve problems quickly;
- The initiative to be able to identify and seize upon opportunities to grow and improve the service we can offer to our guests;
- A likeable, pleasant manner, able to deal with testing customers with a smile;
- Have Strong leadership and communication skills
- Be prepared to live on site. Note we don’t allow pets such as cats/ dogs.
For the First Role:
- Have electrical licence and mechanical aptitude
- Be able to lead and guide less skilled staff in the handywork team.
- Truck licence preferred (but not essential).
For the Second Role:
- Relevant customer service and sales experience;
- The ability to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction on a consistent basis;
- Strong administrative and computer skills;
